In this case, emissions rise from 230 Gt in 2000 to 940 Gt in 2100. The total amount of emitted CO 2 of 5,800 Gt corresponds to an atmospheric CO 2 concentration of more than of 1,000 ppm. The huge increase in CO 2 emissions mainly comes from the electricity generation sector followed by the industrial sector, the other sectors only rise slightly in absolute numbers or even decrease. Contract of Association between EURATOM and ÖAW, was carried out within the framework of the European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA).
